Frick Sak Nov. 1-2 140 West 57th Street New York October 28th, 1918.

Mr. Henry Clay Frick, Fifth Avenue and 70th Street. New York.

My dear Mr. Frick: Although Mr. Creel, chairman of the committee on Public Information had asked me to be on the Committee to entertain the Swiss Journalists, whom the American government had invited to visit this country, I will not take this as the excuse for asking you to allow these gentleman to see your beautiful gallery and house. They are most anxious to admire your treasures and if possible have the pleasure of meeting you, because as Swiss they claim you as one of curs. They have just returned from an extensive trip under government guidance, and I do not know exactly when they would find it possible to visit your gallery. I think if you could allow it to be either Friday or Saturday, as I think that they are to sail on Saturday or Sunday, we would appreciate it very much. There would be six of them and myself. Hoping that you are well. Most sincerely yours, A. Benziger.
