FRICK BUYS HOLBEIN PAINTING NEW YORK, May 3.--Henry C. Frick, financier and art lover, who recently purchase the Fragonard paintings from the Morgan collection of old masters that had graced the walls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it was learned today, is the owner of the Holbein painting, valued at $235,000, that arrived today on the American liner Philadelphia. Mr. Frick, it is believed, may have paid $250,000 for the painting.
