H. C. Frick PITTSBURGH, PA. NEW YORK ADDRESS 1 EAST 70TH STREET.

We have sold H. C. Frick a Van Dyck, "Countess Clanbrisil [sic.]," which includes the old frame which is on it, for one hundred and sixty-five thousand ($165,000.00) dollars, payable March 1, 1917. We desire to have a copy of it made, which we understand you are willing to allow us to do in your house, any time we find an artist we can arrange to have do it. We also agree to furnish a certificate from Dr. de Wild at our expense, as to the genuineness of the picture. Signed: Lewis & Simmons
