Prides Crossing, Mass., September 20, 1916
Messrs. Duveen Brothers, 720 Fifth Avenue, New York. Gentlemen: I expect to call you in the near future for the Pennsylvania Railroad stock that you got from me, and as your Mr. Joseph Duveen has gone abroad, and I believe your Mr. Henry Duveen goes soon, I hope proper instructions will be left so that I can get the stock any day I may wish to pay for it at the price I have the right to take it at: I may desire to lift it next week. Yours sincerely,
[handwritten:] Sept 26. 1916 – Repurchased from Duveen Brothers. Vouchers 5666. See Journal #7–folio 263.
