We beg to inform you that we have received from Neale & Wilkinson of London, one case said to contain a picture by Rembrandt, known as the Polish Rider, valued at £60,000 and shipped to you by Arthur Bellamy Clifton. To complete the entry papers of this case, we ask you to kindly sign and return to us both of the enclosed declarations.

Please give the matter your immediate attention in order that we may expedite delivery of the case.

Will you also advise whether if it is possible to do so, we shall arrange to have the customs examination of this case made at your residence.
