My dear Mr. Frick.
I hear that Messrs Knoedler have told Carfax that they are to hand over the Rembrandt to them. I have no instructions to that effect and do not think that after what I told you you would ORDER?? this.
There is of course no objection whatever to their having the picture and showing it later on if you do not mind the delay in receiving it. But I cannot
