Since my arrival I have been kept very busy and have already been to Holland & to England & find good pictures very scarce and higher than ever.
I may have to avail myself of your kind offer to let me have some money in which event I will cable you direct when you can send the check to M. K & Co. 355 Fifth Ave. and my bookkeeper & power of atty W. T. Herckenrath will give you a note if you wish it: rest assured that I will not ask unless I have to. from last reports the large amounts due us do not seem
