Dear Sir:

We herewith enclose the original binder for $753,250. issued this day to us by the insurance company covering your pictures in transit from your residence at Homewood Avenue and Penn Avenue, East End, Pittsburg, Pa., at whatever time they may be shipped, to #640 Fifth Avenue, New York City. The original certificate will come to us from the Company within a short period, and upon its receipt we shall forward same direct to you.

It is customary with marine companies to assume liability in one company and then reinsure amongst the other companies, which has been done in this instance.
