EDWARD BRANDUS. 712 FITH AVENUE, NEW YORK.

stamped: OFFICE OF H. C. FRICK RECEIVED APR 27 1910

April 23rd 1910

My dear Mr Frick, I think I did not express my whole mind when you kindly asked my opinion of the Frans Hals, last evening - I will do so now: Outside the Rembrandt Portrait of his Mother in the Musée of Amsterdam, I do not know of a greater portrait of a Dutch Woman, than the one by Frans Hals from the Yorkes? Sale.

Yours respectfully, signed and underlined: Edward Brandus
