Dear Sir, Yours of the 19th July, duly delivered. I was very pleased to hear that the Dagnan? looks so well. Please tell Miss Childs? that she will be delighted with the small reduction which will be in Wagman's studio 15 days before it leaves Paris and it will be perfect when you receive it for Christmas.


Wagman is is to great an Artist to leave? one picture go out of his studio unless he is entirely satisfied with it.


As regard the Purchase? I was surprised to hear that you have not decided if you feel? hope that by their line? you have it in your? house. All I can say is that you have a very fine picture and feel certain that you will like it more and more - I was going to Wagman end of the week for few days but shall not be able to ? as my wife went through a very serious
