Frick, Esq, My Dear Sir: I have the honor to notify you officially that at a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Library, a vote of thanks was taken, expressing the appreciation of the Board of your gift to the Art Gallery of the portrait of Andrew Carnegie, The artistic value of the donation is rivalled in interest by its worth to all the visitors to the building, as an expressive likeness of the founder of the institution. With gratification in expressing the thanks of the Board for your valuable gift, I remain Yours truly, James F. Hudson Secretary.
