Dear Mr. Frick, Many thanks for your favor of yesterday.

Charlie says that your time is too valuable to look at bargains in the picture line.

I have not seen the Lockhart portraits - hope Mrs. L.'s will improve with acquaintance. Chartran in the fall could retouch it if he thought it necessary after suggestions are made to him.

To whom are we to charge the McKinley frame to?
