Dear Sir:- We have been asked by the Republican Club for their 10th, annual Dinner to be given at "The Waldorf" on Lincoln's Birthday, Friday evening, 11th, inst. for the loan of Chartran's portrait of President-Elect McKinley, with the understanding that they are to keep it insured and are responsible for it over night. Kindly wire us if we can let them have it.
