I beg to inform you that I have today sent off the picture by Dagnan in bond Pittsburg through Havre by La LORRAINE ?? via New York to Pittsburg. I hope it will arrive safely and should feel very much obliged if you could give orders sous to let me have news by cable as soon as it arrives. a cable as follow will be sufficient -- Invocation Paris

I hear that Charley Knoedler is ill and that Roland has left last night for Aix. I hope it is nothing serious and should like to hear about it. Please give them my kindest regards. Kindly let me know a day or two before you return so that I can arrange with Mrs Groult. -
