Dear Sir, We regret not having had the pleasure of a visit from you whilst you were in London.

We wished to show you three pictures. 1st; "The Carousal" by Roybet. This picture measures 51 inches high by 35 1/4 inches wide and is one of the finest of the master's works.

The price is £2,500. We need not remind you that this artist's last year's Salon picture was sold for £6,000.

2nd; "Le Petit Pecheur" by Diaz. This picture [end page 1 of 2; left side]

We may mention that the Diaz and the Dupré are well known to Mr. D. T. Watson of your City, and to Mr. John Caldwell of the Westinghouse Company, the former of whom would much have liked to have the Diaz, and the latter the Dupré.

If any of these pictures interest you we shall be pleased to give you further [end page 2 of 2; right side]
