Mr. Henry C. Frick

Dear Sir

At the time you purchased the painting by J. M. W. Turner from us in Paris we furnished you with a complete history of it from the time it was painted, if this was given to you in writing we shall be very glad if you will kindly return it to us at your early convenience, we wish to have these particulars in a hurry and if you have them it will save us writing to London.

Hoping you will not think us troublesome,

We remain

Yours truly
