FOUR OLD CHINESE VASES AND COVERS. ___________________________________


Four fine old Chinese baluster shaped vases, with covers, of the late Kang Hsi period, 1662 to 1723, decorated with flowers, & e., in the colours of the famille rose, on modern carved and gilt wood stands. The vases are quite perfect, with the exception that one of the small Kylin ornaments on the cover of one of the vases has been repaired. Formerly in a private collection in St. Petersburg, and latterly from the collection of the late Charles Wertheimer, Esq.
