Dear Mr. Frick, I enclose a communication which I presume comes from the Addington Golf Club as I received a similar one. The links I understand are to be opened in a few weeks and they are at the present time building the club house. It promises to be a very fine course - as good as Sunningdale and much more convenient.

I heard from Charles Macdonald this week and he tells me that you and John have gone to French Lick. I hope you will both be benefited by the cure. I think it was just as well that you did not come over here this spring as London and Paris are far from normal. They are, however, rapidly regaining their pre-war condition and I should think by next spring will be quite normal.

Big pictures seem to be scarcer than ever and are only obtained by constant watching.

I was glad to hear from Roland that you had bought the fine
