My dear Mr Frick, I have written about the car and you may depend upon my best efforts to make it a success.

I will attend to the cost & let you know in good time.

My golf has gone to pot, the weather is so awful, I have never known such an August.

French writes me the room in New York looks very well. I hope you like it. I think the Barbizon pictures ought to look well there and add to the pleasure of Sunday bridge.

Weather conditions are bad all over
