ATTENTION MR. McELROY

Mr. H.C. Frick, Frick Building, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Dear Sir:-

We are in receipt of your favor of the 10th instant.
As regards the old frames which we took from Mr. Frick's home, they are useless to us, and we thought by removing them it would be an accommodation to Mr. Frick to get them out of the way.
It is very seldom that we are able to use an old frame. However, if you wish us to do so, we will try and dispose of the lot, and credit you with the entire amount received for the same, which would be very small, as it is hard to get frame dealers to buy old frames on speculation.
Awaiting your pleasure in the matter, we remain,
    Very truly yours,
    M. Knoedler & Co.,
    T. Gerrity

[handwritten] Mr. Frick: Will you please instruct furhter? J.W.W.E
