Mr. H.C. Frick, Pride's Crossing, Mass.

Dear Sir:-

Complying with telephonic instructions received from your Mr. Holroyd, we are sending two men tonight to stretch the paintings that were wrinkled, and we are also shipping by American Express three carved frames which we have just received from Paris, for your Hobbema and Frans Hals, "The Artist" and Frans Hals, "Portrait of an old woman".
    Very truly yours,
    M. Knoedler & Co,
     T. Gerrity
