Beginning of Page 2 H. C. F. -2- "Franz Snyders and His Wife" are the most satisfying Van Dycks that I can think of. And what visions of beauty are given by such pictures as your little Vermeer, "Miss Byng," the Raeburn, etc. etc! Taken all together, I should say that it is by far the choicest collection of "Old Masters" in the world today. Once more thanking you for your courtesy, and hoping that you will give me some opportunity of return by occasionally dropping in our Galleries for the purpose of studying the older Schools of Art, I remain Yours very truly, Louis R.
