Pride's Crossing, Massachusetts, October 17, 1908.

My dear Mr. Carstairs: Your very interesting letter has just been received and carefully noted.

I will think over the mater and will advise you later, but do not feel at present as if I would like to buy another Hobbema. I return you herewith the photograph of "The Cottage Girl"; the other two sent me, I will retain for the present.

With kind regards to you and yours, always

Sincerely yours, [Henry Clay Frick]

To Mr. Charles S. Carstairs, 15 Old Bond St., W., London, England.
