COPY IN LETTER BOOK. July 2, 1907. Chas. S. Carstairs, Esq., 15 Old Bond Street, London, England. My dear Carstairs:- Regret to learn from the enclosed the gentleman to whom I gave you a letter was unable to meet your wishes, it being not in his line. When I see you Abroad if necessary can probably arrange to assist you in some other way. Perhaps through this very party may be able to be of use in the Kann matter. Please preserve the enclosure for me. Just arrived from Prides. It is very beautiful on the North Shore. I am looking forward to our trip with much pleasure. With best regards to you and yours and any inquiring friends, Always, Yours sincerely, [Henry Clay Frick]
