Dear Mr Frick, It has been on my mind to write you for some time. Roland & I called on Mr. Noetzlin with your letter of introduction which insured us a most charming reception on his part. It seems his bank do not take money on deposit except from other banks & governments. He went into the matter however with a view to putting us in communication with a bank that would supply our needs & asked Roland to call in about a week's time which he writes me he has done but Mr Noetzlin told him frankly that he didn't think any bank would loan us more than a about 200000 fcs that New York which is our
