Mr. Dearth asks me to convey to you his thanks and appreciation. Aside from being a friend I value his opinion above any one in America. He is as Quixotic perhaps as Sir Hugh but his connoisseurship and knowledge and standard of art is quite as great as Lane's and absolutely without the self-interest side.
