New York, May 14, 1915.

My dear Mr. Carstairs:

I have decided not to keep the Whistlers recently hung on the third floor, and would be glad if you would send for them. I return herewith the bill rendered me for them under date of April 30th.

Yours very truly,

Mr. C. S. Carstairs,

Messrs. M. Knoedler & Company, 556 Fifth Avenue, N. Y.
