15 Septem [September] 1908.

Dear Mr. Frick, I enclose a letter from Agnew which I thought would interest you.

I am sending by tomorrow's steamer to Tom to forward to you 2 photographs of Lord and Lady de Dunstanville painted by Gainsborough. They come from the same collection as the “The Cottage Girl" owned by Agnew & were sold to Sir George Donaldson. I understand he gave £65.000. for them, in any event he will take £75.000. for the pair & they are about the swellest pair of Gainsboroughs in existence and would be a wonderful addition to your collection.

They are the same size as your 2 Reynolds 40 x 50 inches.

The woman is painted in a blue underdress with yellow bodice & dress extending almost to her knees
