In enclosing
the business letter permit to
thank you personally for your
kindness -
I was anxious to get our hundred
thousand subscription
so I called on Mr. Geo. F. Baker
who made no difficulty in
saying that he would
procure 50m. for me and
carrying it. I suggested
that I get it myself: he
answered that it was all
the same. This with the 50
that Mr. Knox is INSERTED TEXT to /INSERTED TEXT get for me
and give to Mr. yers is
what I ?? coveted. I will
do just what Mr. Knox
says and keep it to
myself.

I am about through & delighted
with the prospect of a little
rest. my nerves unfortunately
get the best of me at times.
I expect you to let me know
when the family leaves and
I hope that you will be able
to accompany them. In
all events you can depend
that I will only be too
happy to look after them
and do anything I can
to be agreeable to them.
